Explore the Yanayacu River on a full-day tour from Iquitos. The day begins with 9:30 a.m. hotel pick-up, transfer to Bellavista Nanay and observation of the confluence of the Nanay and Amazon rivers before travelling to San Juan de Huashalado. After an approximately 15-minute walk, discover the Yanayacu River and its blackwater ecosystem. Observe birdlife and, depending on conditions, there may be a chance to see monkeys, birds and sloths. The tour includes medicinal plants, trees over 40 metres tall, artisanal piranha fishing and lunch at Cabaña Amazon Lodge.
