At sunrise, around 5:00 a.m., observe birds and sunrise over the Amazon River. After breakfast, visit a Yagua community to learn about its customs, clothing, dialect, way of life, blowpipe and traditional dances. Lunch at a rainforest lodge with local products, seasonal fruit juice and vegetarian or special dietary options with advance notice. Travel by boat into the Yanayacu River Communal Reserve, a blackwater river with birdlife such as kingfishers, hawks and herons. Take a walk to observe bromeliads, trees over 30 metres tall and medicinal plants. Sunset, night walk, dinner and overnight at Cabaña Amazon Lodge.

At sunrise, around 5:00 a.m., there is an opportunity to observe birds feeding along the riverbanks and enjoy sunrise over the Amazon River. After breakfast, visit a riverside community and the Monkey Island wildlife project. Here, sloths, monkeys, agoutis and macaws may be observed in a setting focused on learning and respect for Amazonian wildlife. Afterwards, enjoy lunch at the lodge with local products; vegetarian and special dietary options are available with advance notice.
